Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Utopia Collectibles. Given the volatile nature of the Trading Card Game (TCG) market and the importance of product integrity, we have established the following guidelines to protect both our customers and our business.

14-Day Return Policy

We offer a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Strict TCG Condition Requirement: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the exact condition you received it.

  • Sealed Products: All TCG booster boxes, packs, elite trainer boxes, and collection boxes must be factory sealed and untampered with.
  • Opened Items: Once the factory shrink wrap, seal, or packaging is broken, opened, or altered in any way, the item is strictly ineligible for return, refund, or exchange.
  • Singles: Individual cards must be returned in the specific protective sleeve/toploader provided, showing no signs of additional handling or surface wear.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened TCG products (no exceptions).
  • Sale items and Gift Cards.
  • Customized or personalized orders.
  • Items damaged through customer handling or improper storage.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at utopiacollectibles@booyahs.ca to initiate a request.
  2. If your return is accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and detailed instructions.
  3. Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back to us without a prior return request will not be accepted or refunded.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If an item is defective, damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong product, contact us at utopiacollectibles@booyahs.ca within 48 hours of receipt. We require clear photos of the damaged packaging and the item itself to evaluate the issue and file a claim with the carrier.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item to ensure the factory seal is intact, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Processing Time: Please note that banks and credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your approval, please contact us.

Chargeback & Fraud Protection Notice

To ensure a secure marketplace and prevent fraudulent chargebacks, Utopia Collectibles adheres to the following:

  • Documentation: We maintain high-resolution photo/video evidence of all high-value items and their packaging process prior to shipment.
  • Tracking & Signature: All high-value orders are shipped with tracking and may require a signature upon delivery. This serves as legal proof of fulfillment.
  • Order Discrepancies: By purchasing from Utopia Collectibles, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a dispute with your bank.
  • Market Volatility: Refunds will not be granted due to “market price fluctuations.” All sales are final based on the price at the time of purchase.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

For merchandise shipped into the European Union, customers have the right to cancel or return an order within 14 days for any reason. However, the same condition requirements apply: the product must be unworn/unused, in its original factory packaging, and must include the receipt or proof of purchase. If a TCG product is opened, it is considered “used” and may not be eligible for a full refund under consumer protection exceptions for sealed goods.
